Kids Unlimited Referral Information

Who refers?

Anyone can refer to this project.  We regularly receive referrals from Social Work Department, Health Board, Teachers, Parents and Carers and other voluntary organisations.

What is the referral criteria?

  • The young person must be aged 9-13 years and reside within the City of Dundee.

  • The young person and their family must be in agreement to the referral being made and enter into the project voluntarily.

  • The young person is living in a household where a member of their family has a disability or long-term illness.

How do I make a referral?

Before contacting us to make a referral it is essential that permission is sought from the young person and their family in order for the referral to go ahead.

Once permission is sought contact us to discuss the referral.  We will then send out a referral form to be completed and returned.

What happens next?

When the completed referral form is received we will acknowledge receipt to both the referrer and the young persons family.

The young persons name will then be placed on a waiting list until a place within Kids Unlimited becomes available.
